Below is the return policy for orders that don’t include our extended coverage (“MycoProtect™ Coverage”). For information on MycoProtect™ Coverage’s successful harvest guarantee and full/free refunds, refer to the last section on this page.

Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges for unused products within 30 days of receiving the product. Returns and exchanges will only be accepted once the product has been shipped back in our warehouse in original condition and with the original packaging. We have the right to refuse any returned item that does not meet its original condition.

All return orders will be issued with a store credit to the value of the item(s) returned, less any shipping costs. 

Return and Exchange Postage

All shipping costs related to exchanges and returns due to “change of mind”, will be borne by the customer. MushroomSupplies.com does not cover shipping costs for returns/ exchanges unless proven faulty. Shipping costs are not refundable for change of mind returns and exchanges and you are responsible for the costs of shipping the products back to us. Please note, we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or undelivered returned parcels.

Faulty/Contaminated Items:

If you believe your unused item is faulty, incorrect or missing an item - please contact us via grow@mushroomsupplies.com with photos of the fault and your order number. All claims need to be lodged within 30 days of receiving an item. We reserve the right to refuse a return if it does not meet our standards or if the product has been used. For faulty items, we will cover the postage costs for the return.

Contamination can occur at any stage of growing mushrooms. We will take responsibility for any unused item that is showing contamination in the form of a store credit or free replacement. If contamination appears after you inoculate your bag with mushroom genetics, the contamination is likely due to improper inoculation technique or contaminated genetics. Since we don’t have any control over the inoculation process or quality of mushroom genetics, we will not be responsible for any contamination that occurs after a bag has been inoculated.

We highly encourage customers to ensure a successful harvest by adding MycoProtect™ Coverage to their order. This extended coverage gives you peace of mind and unlocks hassle-free full refunds.

  • MycoProtect™ Covereage is valid for 30 days from the date you receive your product and covers up to $100 in replacement costs per order – even contamination occurs after inoculating your product. When filing a claim, you may be required to provide a photo of the product as proof. In some instances, a claim for a refund may require shipping the original product back to us with a prepaid shipping label we send you. 

    Refunds under MycoProtect™ Coverage will be processed to the original payment method. Coverage is solely for the original purchaser and is not transferable.

    Once purchased, MycoProtect™ Coverage cannot be canceled or refunded.
